Mitra is a comedy director known for his playful visual style, thoughtful casting, and retro sensibilities that resonate across cultures and audiences. His work blends quirky humor with bold art direction and precise timing, delivering memorable stories where brand and narrative are seamlessly integrated.

Born in Latvia, Mitra began his creative journey on the agency side, first as a copywriter and later as a creative director. After more than a decade in advertising, he decided to move to the other side of the camera. Following his film studies in London, Mitra began pitching himself directly to agencies and quickly launched his directing career.
